A Day of Joy and Thanksgiving in Zaitzkofen

After the conference by the director of the seminary, Fr. Franz Schmidberger, he celebrated the Mass of the Solemnity of St. Pius X, the heavenly patron of the work of priestly formation founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1970.

During the sermon, he spoke to the seminarians in particular, and gave them three paths they should follow in preparing for the priesthood:

• the imitation of Christ, above all of the perfect simplicity of His soul, He Who sought only to accomplish the will of His Heavenly Father;
• the community life, a necessary condition for becoming true apostles, true fishers of men;
• recourse to the Mother of the Eternal High Priest, Our Lady, in all the sufferings and necessities of life, she who asks only to be able to form more priests like Her Divine Son.

After the Mass, all the community and many former members of the community, the foundation’s pioneers and the instruments of Providence, enjoyed a banquet.

Before leaving for Switzerland, Fr. Pagliarani met with the 7 first-year seminarians and the 3 postulants in the Brothers’ Novitiate who just entered in Zaitzkofen. Deo gratias!
